Seb K
Treatments

Eliminate skin growth caused by seborrhoeic keratoses with our advanced non- invasive laser treatment.

What is a seborrhoeic keratosis?

Seborrheic keratosis, often abbreviated as “seb k”, is a common benign skin condition characterised by non-cancerous growths on the skin’s surface. These growths typically appear as raised, wart-like lesions with a rough or waxy texture and can vary in color from light tan to dark brown or black. While seb k growths can develop anywhere on the body, they are most commonly found on areas such as the face, chest, back, and shoulders. Although seborrheic keratoses are generally harmless and painless, they can be cosmetically bothersome and may cause discomfort or itching if they become irritated.

At our clinic, we specialise in providing effective treatments for seborrheic keratoses to help individuals achieve clearer, smoother skin. Our experienced dermatologists offer a range of treatment options to safely remove seb k growths and restore skin’s appearance. With personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and preferences, we strive to deliver optimal results and restore confidence in our clients. Say goodbye to bothersome seborrheic keratoses and hello to smoother, more radiant skin with our expert seb k removal services.

Seb K Frequently Asked Questions

Seb K’s usually appear as a pale, black, or brown wart like growth on the back, shoulders, chest, or face and normally has a crusty texture. Lesions usually start off as small, rough bumps, and gradually get thicker and are usually raised above the surface of the skin. A Seb K can be solitary or in groups, for example on the scalp, under the breasts, over the spine, or in the groin area.
SEB-K are harmless, and usually do not cause symptoms. They can itch, become inflamed, and catch on clothing. Many people dislike the look of them, particularly when they occur on their face.
Seborrheic keratoses tend to appear from middle-age onwards. Some people may have just one, but normally there will be several. There is no proven cause for Seb K’s but possible causes and risk factors include sunlight and genetics.
Seborrheic keratoses do not go away on their own, but they can be removed if they become irritating or unsightly. There is no harm in not treating the growths, because they are benign (noncancerous) and do not become cancerous.
